NetMotion
provides an at- or above-market benefits plan for all employees
working 30 or more hours a week for the purposes of promoting a
healthy and productive workforce. For those benefits where the
company shares the cost with employees, the burden of that cost is
mostly covered by NetMotion.
The company covers the bulk of the cost of these benefits for employees and their dependents. Monthly rates
range from:
$68.00 a month for employee only-medical
$7.00 a month for employee only-dental & vision discount program
$3.00 a month for employee only-vision plan
To:
$280.00 a month for employee only-medical
$40.00 a month for employee only-dental & vision discount program
$5.00 a month for employee only-vision plan
Health care benefits are provided by different carriers and are purchased through our broker. Because we
work through a broker we have additional resources dedicated to the company to help if you ever have
benefits questions or problems with having a claim covered.
Medical
Overview
The
Medical Plan is a PPO plan provided by Regence Blue Shield in
Washington State. For those employees outside of Washington there is
the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Plan. Highlights of the plan include:

Dental
Overview
The
Dental Plan is provided by MetLife nationwide. Highlights of the
plan include:

Preventive
(Type A) – 100% in- or out-of-network
Basic
(Type B) – 90% in-network / 80% out-of-network
Major
(Type C) – 60% in-network / 50% out-of-network
Orthodontia
- $2,000 lifetime maximum (child and adult).
Vision
There
are two vision plans that employees may use. One is provided by
MetLife (free when you enroll in the vision plan) and the other by
VSP. The MetLife plan provides discounted savings for exams,
contacts/glasses and Lasik surgery when seeing an in-network provider
such as Target or JC Penny’s (for exams and contacts/glasses). The
VSP highlights include:

co-pay for lenses, covered every 12 months

co-pay for frames (if separate from purchase of lenses), covered
every 24 months
Contacts
covered up to $120 (in-network) every 12 months in lieu of frames

Flexible
Spending Accounts (FSA)
NetMotion
provides two types of FSA’s. An FSA is a company sponsored program
provided to employees that allows them to put aside money for health
care and dependent care costs pre-tax.
As
part of the program, money is deducted pre-tax from each paycheck and
is deposited into an FSA account. Claims for expenses are submitted
to the account and then reimbursed. Highlights include:
NetMotion
allows for employees to contribute up to $3,000 for the Health Care
FSA and $5,000 for the Dependent Care FSA.
The
money deducted from your paycheck will be pre-tax, so you don’t
pay FICA (7.65%), Federal Income Tax (10-35%) or any state income
tax.
Plan
administered by Flex-Plan Services.
Employee
Assistance Program
The
company has a program through MetLife to serve employees and their dependents. Any family member can
call. Highlights
include:
Emotional Health: Professional counselors and resources you and family members can
access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They can assist with a variety of issues including stress, grief, emotional, family and
relationship concerns, financial planning, child and elder care service referrals and legal
questions.
This service is 100% confidential and free to you and your family.
Work Life Support: Counseling on work issues including
communication, working with others, setting goals, etc.
Physical Health: Wellness programs, health calculators, health
topic information and more are available.
Financial Health: Financial planning and counseling assistance.
Discounted tax preparation.
Work/Life Balance: Concierge services.
Other
Benefits
NetMotion
provides other benefits to employees including:
Life
insurance: There is a
Group Term Life Insurance policy which is covered at 100% by the
company for all employees and covers 1X your annual Salary up to
$100,000.
Supplemental
life insurance: This can
be purchased at a discount if you want additional Life and AD&D
insurance.
Short-term
Disability Coverage: This
benefit is covered at 100% by the company and provides 60% of weekly
earnings up to $2,500 a week if an employee meets the requirements
of the plan.
Long-term
Disability Coverage: This
benefit is covered at 100% by the company and provides 60% weekly
earnings up to $10,000 a month if an employee meets the requirements
of the plan.
Paid Time Off
NetMotion
Wireless provides an above market amount of paid time off to
employees. Our employees work smart and work hard. It makes sense
to provide adequate time off for people to maintain a work-life
balance.
In
addition, the Company currently provides to those who are eligible
Family and Medical Leave, Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty Leave, and
Military Leave.
Highlights
of paid time off include:
15 Vacation Days (to start):
accrued over the calendar year.
9 Company Holidays:
These include New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day,
Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
2 Floating Holidays: These
are two days to use at the employee’s discretion in order to take
religious or other holidays not covered by the Company holidays.
10 Sick Days:
These renew each calendar year.
401K
Plan
NetMotion Wireless encourages all
employees to enroll in the 401(k) saving plan provided by Fidelity.
Employees are eligible to participate in the plan right away and
deductions will begin the month following their start date.
This plan is an effective way for you
to save for retirement with many different investment options
available. You have the option of contributing up to 60% of your
gross income or $15,500 annually in pre- OR post-tax dollars as
NetMotion offers a traditional and a Roth 401K option.
Employees have online access to their
401K account and can take advantage of saving resources provided by
Fidelity either on the web or by walking in to the nearest Fidelity
retail location.
The company also provides educational
forums on 401K investing through a 3rd
party advisor to help with questions re: the Fidelity plan and its
options.
